- I will post notices of events in Lincoln
or Vermont that are open to ALL residents of Lincoln.
I will not discriminate about which notices I post,
and which ones I do not. By posting the event,
it does not mean that I am a supporter of this
event, nor does it reflect the views of any officer
of the Town of Lincoln. I will not discriminate
on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation,
gender identity, nationality, political party,
age, etc. I will not, however, post anything that
the film industry might consider an R or X-Rated
event. Here I draw the line.
- I will not always
seek out information to post; I usually post what
people send in as requests. For example, if the
Progressive Party is advertising a meeting, I will not
seek information about Democratic or Republican meetings,
but will gladly post the information if it is sent in.
- I prefer not to post
personal classified ads, such as items for sale,
or advertising for businesses. There is just so
much time in my day, and there are newspapers and
radios for these things. An exception to this might
be lost/found pets or items, or advertising for
Town of Lincoln job openings or equipment for sale
(meaning your municipal government, not for anyone
in the town).
- I will not post information
and opinions about matters affecting the Town.
Specific issues should be brought up with the proper
governing board, so that discussions can happen
in open meetings.
- In general, if you have questions
or comments about something posted to the Town E-mail list,
please inquire to the person who was the original sender
of the message. Please keep me informed of your e-mail
address status. If you ever wish to be removed from the
Town E-mail List, please let me know.
