The Lincoln Energy Committee renewed activity in the spring of 2008. The Committee
seeks to help the town and its residents...

find and use sources of energy that are reliable, sustainable,
and affordable.

Emergency
heating assistance via the Lincoln Emergency
Wood Bank |

(b.) |
Participation
in regional cooperatives to create and/or
purchase alternative sources of energy
for town residents and facilities. |

lower demands on increasingly expensive energy supplies.

Workshops
on ways to weatherize homes and public
buildings and hence increase efficiency
and reduce demand. |

(b.) |
Planning
for upgrades to the Lincoln Community
School and other public buildings. |

of energy use, whether traditional (coal, oil, natural gas) or alternative
(solar, wind, hydro, biomass).
