Who: For people who have an emergency, short-term need for firewood.

Where: The wood will be available for pickup at the southeast corner of the old town shed at 641 East River Road.

What: A limited supply of dry firewood for use by any Lincoln resident.
This fuel is for emergency use only. Please take only a few armloads at a
time, so that others in need will also be able to use this service. If you
need help getting wood, please contact Jon Howell at 453-5396 to request
assistance.

How it works
:

All of the wood and labor is donated by volunteers. The shed
will be re-filled when empty.

If the shed is empty please notify Sally Taylor at 453-5953, or Jon Howell at 453-5396.

Fuel assistance funds for other heating fuels may be available from the United Church of Lincoln - please contact Dave Wood at 453-4280 to request this help.

How to participate: What's needed most is volunteer labor. Call Stephen Taylor 453-3225 if you'd like to help.

Cash donations to support local emergency fuel assistance are also needed:

Send checks to the United Church of Lincoln, c/o Deacons.
